髙橋耕平｜Kohei Takahahi

1977年生まれ。京都市を拠点に活動。2002年京都精華大学大学院芸術研究科修了。大学で版画及び写真を学んだ後、2003年、京都市にオルタナティブアートスペース「muzz program space」を共同設立し、約8年間同スペースの展覧会企画・運営に携わる。現在はドキュメンタリー映像やアーカイブ資料、写真やファウンドオブジェ等に自らの声や身体を介入さることを通して、史実や他者との対話を巡る作品を発表する。
Born in 1977, Kohei Takahashi is an artist based in Kyoto, Japan. He received his MFA from the Graduate School of Art at Kyoto Seika University in 2002. After studying printmaking and photography at university, he co-founded the alternative art space “muzz program space” in Kyoto in 2003, where he was involved in curating and managing exhibitions for approximately eight years. His current practice explores dialogue with historical events and the experiences of others by inserting his own voice and body into documentary footage, archival materials, photographs, found objects, and other media.
